AUTOSUPREMA PERFORMANCE BRAKE SYSTEMS

Heavy-Duty performance brake rotor set G3000 Carbon-Steel with harmonic balancing and anti-rust zinc plating. Drilled & Slotted rotors provide upgraded cooling, increased stopping power and reduced weight.

  • STAGE 1: Our basic rotor, better than the original equipment (OE) of your vehicle with better cooling capabilities and more resistant to wear. Suitable for street/daily use. *NOT RECOMENDED FOR RACING OR ANY HEAVY STRESS ACTIVITY*
  • STAGE 2Exceptional upgrade to your braking system offering multiple options in design to better suit your needs, offering better heat dissipation, smoother braking, less noise and the ability to choose between styles that will affect braking capabilities and wear. (See graphic) *Suitable for street/daily and occasional racing activities*
  • STAGE 3: The ultimate upgrade for your braking system, with waved edges to causing a big reduction in inertia, allowing for a faster and smoother braking. They are also offered in a variety of styles that will further affect braking as in Stage 2. (See graphic) Suitable for street/daily and occasional to medium racing activities

Designs:

  • DS: Excellent cooling with higher than average stopping power and medium pad consumption. Suitable for daily, spirited driving and occasional racing.
  • CD: Maximum cooling capabilities at the expense of stopping power, very low brake pad consumption. This rotor is suitable for daily and spirited drivers, not recommended for racing purposes.
  • GT: Maximum stopping power at the expense of cooling and a very high pad consumption. Recommended for racing activities due to its stopping power and high brake pad wear, suitable for daily and spirited driving.
  • RS: Very high stopping power with average cooling capabilities and a high brake pad consumption, this rotor is suitable for daily, spirited driving and racing.
  • SS: The most balanced rotor, above average stopping power combined with a medium cooling performance and average pad consumption, this rotor is suitable for daily, spirited driving and occasional racing.

Drilled, Slotted or Drilled Slotted?

The answer to this question depends on what you're focusing on. For circuit or prolonged races it is recommended to go with slotted rotors and avoid the drilled, this is because during heavy braking operations the drilled areas are considered stress points where they tend to crack and would end up causing a brake failure. However, drilled rotors are excellent for short racing (occasional autocross, occasional track days, occasional drifting). Focusing on longer races like endurance races that could last hours, a slotted rotors is way less prone to fail due to its solid structure and while these are stronger they will clear dirt and debris from the pads with the slots maintaining a smooth braking for the rest of your race. Now, if you are no racer and you are in for the looks, feel free to choose the one you most like!
